Your paintings are absolutely vibrant and the mediums you are using interest me very much. I combine one or two myself in my art.
Although I discovered this site today I am not yet on it as I got caught up in perusing your site on a lazy vacation holiday day,
Are you using the oil pastel as a resist to the acrylic paint or as a detailer or both?
There is no doubt you have great control over the use of these mediums and I am particularily enchanted with the siamese cats,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I have been so busy with home schooling and only now are things slowing down with summer coming.
I use the oil pastels as a detailer. I like to use an acrylic base and then use the oil pastels on top in a number of layers to create the look that you love.
